Students of Walden University Online B.S. in health studies have the option of pursuing Bachelor's plus programs that allows them to continue their M.P.H. (Masters in Public Health) and transfer the credits towards their masters program depending upon their performance in bachelor's course.

Courses covered during Walden University online B.S. in health studies are divided into General education, Electives, Core courses, Concentration courses, making connections course, and capstone with a total of 181 credits.

The core courses (total 56 credits) include: Communication Skills For Career Development, health promotion, Health Care Delivery, basics of Epidemiology, Research Methods and Analysis, Health Informatics, ethical and legal issues in healthcare, Acute and Long-Term Care, public and global health.

The concentration courses are of 30 credits and the capstone project is of 5 credits.
