Courses covered during Walden University online B.S. in health studies are divided into General education, Electives, Core courses, Concentration courses, making connections course, and capstone with a total of 181 credits.
The core courses (total 56 credits) include: Communication Skills For Career Development, health promotion, Health Care Delivery, basics of Epidemiology, Research Methods and Analysis, Health Informatics, ethical and legal issues in healthcare, Acute and Long-Term Care, public and global health.
The concentration courses are of 30 credits and the capstone project is of 5 credits.
