University Online Master of Education in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) ULMGOLD program consists of 36 hours.
Tier 1 Courses include EDLE 5000 (3 hours) and EDLE 5005 (3 hours). A student after completing first 6 hours of the program is qualified for Louisiana endorsement as a Teacher Leader.
Tier 2 Courses include EDLE 5010 (3 hours); EDLE 5015 (3 hours); EDLE 5020 (3 hours); EDLE 5030 (3 hours); EDLE 5035 (3 hours); and EDLE 5040 (3 hours). A student after completing Tier 2 Courses of the program gets Louisiana endorsement as a Leader as Facilitator of Instruction and School Improvement.
Tier 3 Courses include EDLE 5045 (3 hours); EDLE 5055 (3 hours); EDLE 5050 (3 hours); and EDLE 5060 (3 hours). A student after completing Tier 3 Courses of the program gets Louisiana endorsement as a Leader as Manager.
During Extended Internship of 6 hours, that is usually completed in different school settings, a candidate is exposed to the realities of school administration. A candidate is also assigned a guide after completion of the Teacher Leader courses to help on various matters.
