University of Algoma
University of Algoma was originally established as Algoma University College in the year 1967. Then it was affiliated to the Laurentian University in Sudbury. In the initial years this Canadian college in Ontario offered only first year education to the students of bachelors programs. With steady growth in the year 1972 Algoma University College started to offer complete 3 year bachelors degree programs.
In the year 2008, Ontario Government passed a resolution granting the status of fully independent university to it and it became to be known as University of Algoma. Based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario province of Canada, University of Algoma offers quality education in various disciplines ranging from business, biology, sociology, English, computer science, many more.
It offers more than 30 three and four year bachelor degree programs in the fields listed above.

Accelerated Second Degree Program in Computer Science, History, Accounting, Information Technology, Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) & Indigenous Studies, Law and Justice, Articulation Agreements, Liberal Science, Biology, Mathematics, Business Administration, Modern Languages, Community Economic and Social Development (CESD) , Music, Computer Science, Economics, Political Science, English, Psychology, Finance and Economics, Social Welfare/Social Work, Fine Arts, Sociology, Geography.
