Online Certificate in Public and Personnel Administration - ISU

Indiana State University - Online Certificate in Public Administration / Public Personnel Administration program is designed to offers the following two certification options to the students: Graduate Certificate in Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Public Personnel Administration.

The Public Administration Certificate program consists of 12 credit hours and includes the courses of Proseminar in Public Administration, Organizational Behavior in Public Agencies, Public Personnel Administration, and Budgeting in Governmental Agencies.

The Public Personnel Administration Certificate consists of 12 credit hours and includes the courses named Seminar in Personnel Law, Proseminar in Public Administration, Organizational Behavior in Public Agencies and Public Personnel Administration.

After successfully completing the certificate program, the credit earned can be applied for the master of public administration (M.P.A.) program offered within the Department of Political Science.

The program is open for all in-state, out-of-state, and international students that meet the minimum requirements for admission in the program including having a bachelor degree in any field, having an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75.
