Career and technical education holds high significance in today's competitive world. It is meant to groom a person to be competent enough to compete with other equally qualified candidate. The graduate licensure program in Career and Technical Education Business License being offered by the universities is basically intended for the people who are serving as business education teachers for grades 5-12 and also want to have a licensure in vocational business education area.

Career and Technical Education Certificate Online - ISU

Indiana State University - Online Certificate in Career and Technical Education Business License program consists of the main courses of 6 credit hours. The course include Coordination Techniques for Cooperative Education and In-School Laboratories (3 credits) and Foundations of Career and Technical Education (3 credits). The course named Coordination Techniques for Cooperative Education and In-School Laboratories teaches about the various practices used in the operation of cooperative occupational education program and/ or in-school laboratories. It also trains students about the program development and assessment techniques.

The second course named Foundations of Career and Technical Education discusses about the various aspects of career and technical education programs in secondary and postsecondary education. It also gives information about the workforce development, student assessment, and student organizations.

A student also needs to submit a proof of around 1,500 supervised work hours (or 4,000 unsupervised work hours) in order to earn the Vocational Business Licensure.

The program can be completed entirely through distance education.

The College of Business that offers this program is recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).
