The program provides licensed practical nurses an opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in nursing by distance learning. Any practicing L.P.N. who has successfully participated in a practical nursing program and has a current practical/ vocational nurse license can take admission in Online Bachelors Degree in Nursing: L.P.N. to B.S. Program The program allows the candidates to transfer all applicable credit to Indiana State University in order to complete this program. A L.P.N. gets a Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing from the university after successfully completing all the program requirements. The candidate can apply for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) after the completion of this program. This program is recognized by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as well as the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
