History of California InterContinental University goes back to the year 1996, when Dr. S. Kumar founded EdNet (Education Network). Under this model they brought together many training centers in different parts of world under one umbrella and later entered into alliance for offering training programs and certifications with companies like Microsoft, Lotus, IBM, and Sun Microsystems. After certain transformations and different alliances, in 2002 Dr. Kumar established iUniversity and CalUniversity. Finally in the year 2009, it developed into prestigious California Intercontinental University. It is still known as CalUniversity or CalU.
