The courses include Personal Growth & Development (6 hrs), Pastoral Counseling Theories & Application (6 hrs), Death, Dying & Bereavement (6 hrs), Counseling the Dying Patient (6 hrs), Ethics in Pastoral Counseling (6 hrs), Multicultural Counseling (6 hrs), Theology & Pastoral Care (6 hrs), Advanced Issues in Thanatology (6 hrs), Spirituality & Pastoral Counseling (6 hrs), Pastoral Counseling & Thanatology Practicum (12 hrs) and Doctoral Dissertation (12 hrs).
A student gets 10 weeks’ time to complete an online course. If a student wants the time limit to be extended, permission of the instructor is required. A master degree in religious studies, pastoral counseling, counseling psychology, Christian studies, or a related field is required for getting admission in this program. The program allows students to transfer college credits/ courses earned previously during their college programs to this program.
