Breyer State University - Online Bachelor of Hotel/Restaurant/Food Service Management program consists of 110 semester hours. The courses include Food Service Management I (5 hrs), Introduction to Hotel Management (5 hrs), Principles of Business Management (5 hrs), Food Service Management II (5 hrs), Hotel Management Operations (5 hrs), Managing Human Resources (5 hrs), Health and Regulations (5 hrs), Advanced Hotel Management Operations (5 hrs), Food Service Management III (5 hrs), Bookkeeping for Hospitality Management (5 hrs), Management Symposium I (30 hrs) and Management Symposium II (30 hrs).
All the courses are offered online and give students opportunity to complete the degree program through distance education without the need to attend regular classes.
A student gets 10 weeks’ time to complete an online course. If a student wants the time limit to be extended, permission of the instructor is required. The symposium courses needs to be completed within six months.
A student needs to have a high school diploma or an earned GED for getting admission in this program. The program allows students to transfer college credits/ courses earned previously during their college programs to this program.
