Breyer State University - Online Bachelor of Financial Management program consists of 110 semester hours. The main courses include Principles of Accounting (5 hrs), Principles of Accounting II (5 hrs), Cost Accounting (5 hrs), Business Finance (5 hrs), Principles of Economics (5 hrs), Investment Management (5 hrs), Lending and Loan Management (5 hrs), Banking Management (5 hrs), Strategic Planning (5 hrs), Business Law (5 hrs), Financial Management Symposium I (30 hrs), and Financial Management Symposium II (30 hrs). The symposium courses give students opportunity to focus on a specific area of finance.
A student gets 10 weeks’ time to complete an online course. If a student wants the time limit to be extended, permission of the instructor is required. The symposium courses needs to be completed within six months.
A student needs to have a high school diploma or an earned GED for getting admission in this program. The program allows students to transfer college credits/ courses earned previously during their college programs to this program.
