The main courses include Information Technology Principles (5 hrs); Management Information Systems (5 hrs); Database Management Systems (5 hrs); Systems Analysis and Design (5 hrs); Networking and Telecommunications (5 hrs); Software Engineering Principles (5 hrs); Software and Systems Quality Assurance (5 hrs); Artificial Intelligence Concepts (5 hrs); any one of Human Computer Interaction (5 hrs) AND Programming Language Design Theory (5 hrs); and any one of Computer Systems Theory (5 hrs) AND Operating Systems Concepts (5 hrs).

The Symposium I course (Project Management Emphasis) and Symposium II course (Applications Emphasis) consist of 30 hrs each. These courses help a student in focusing on a particular area of the computer systems field.

All the courses are provided and completed online. Students are also provided access to online libraries and other websites for research assistance.

Students can transfer credits/ courses earned previously during their school programs to this program. Up to 50% of credits can be transferred from other schools.
