Breyer State University - Online Bachelor of Clinical Hypnotherapy gives students an opportunity to earn a degree in hypnotherapy through distance education mode.
This program consists of 120 semester hours. The courses include Trance Induction with Self-Hypnosis (8 hrs), General Psychology (8 hrs), Effective Counseling with Hypnotherapy (8 hrs), Hypnosis and Pain Control (8 hrs), Alternative Therapies: Nutrition (8 hrs), Nervous System: Anatomy and Physiology (8 hrs), Hypnotherapy and Energy Work (8 hrs), Spirituality and Hypnotherapy (8 hrs), Trends and Issues in Hypnotherapy (8 hrs), Hypnosis and Dream States (8 hrs), Independent Study I - Hypnotherapy (20 hrs) and Independent Study II – Hypnotherapy (20 hrs).
The optional Metaphysical Hypnotherapy Track include the following courses: Pain and the Body, Mind, and Spirit (8 hrs), Intuitive Skills and Counseling (8 hrs), and Dream Therapy (8 hrs).
All the courses can be completed online with the help of computer and internet. A student gets 10 weeks’ time to complete an online course. If a student wants the time limit to be extended, permission of the instructor is required.
A student needs to possess a certification as a Certified Hypnotist or Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist for getting admission in this program. The program allows students to transfer up to 50% college credits/ courses earned previously during their college programs to this program.
